Phoenix – Wolfgang Amadeus (2009)

 Phoenix

The Phoenix has risen!  If you do not know who these guys are by now then you have been living underneath a rock.  Back in 2000, Phoenix released their first album, United, which blew up like an unpunctured potatoe in an oven.  Horrible analogy yes, but this album was seriously captivating.  So captivating in fact that it caught the ear of Sofia and Roman Coppola who promptly featured the track Too Young in her movie Lost In Translation.  The rest you could say is history, until now.

Introducing the new album Wolfgang Amadeus.  This album is sure to be a-maz-za-zing!  The first single, 1901, is already out and just about blows you away.  What is even better is that you can download this track for free at www.wearephoenix.com.  Wolfgang Amadeus is out May 25th.
