You know those random Facebook surveys that ask you your top 5 this or top 5 that? I was sent a good one recently- Top 5 albums that helped define you. I didn’t hesitate to put Gorilla Biscuits Start Today as one of my top 5. I remember the day my friend Mike brought that record to my house- I felt like I was part of something positive, something new and perhaps even dangerous. I listened to that record over and over, eventually discovering many more influential hardcore and punk records. For me- these guys are The Beatles. Seriously.
So- Imagine how pumped I was to discover (thank you vinylpulse.com) that Super 7 is actually dropping a Gorilla Biscuits vinyl toy! Whoever thought of this is pretty much a genius. It’s a natural pairing. Vinyl records X Vinyl toys= reliving our youth. This one is scheduled to be released on April 18.
