IPhone for the lush.

Now the club lush has no excuse.

Thanks Apple, this almost makes up for the shaken baby app.

Digital.

Everything else is digital in our lives these days, so…
Why not?

Designer Vadim Kibardin’s Black & White Clock concept is a series of four OLED numerals, each with independent sources of power. The clock automatically senses the lighting in the room, switching to white digits in dark conditions and black digits when it’s bright.

Filthy, Pretty, Trash?

It may still really stink, but one thing is for sure, Philly sure has figured out one way to make their trash prettier.
Philly’s Mural Arts Program partnered up with The Design Center of Philadelphia University to transform 10 city garbage trucks into pieces of movable art.

Sorry MJ…

Ever attempted to design a set of chronological portraits of Michael Jackson? Then you would understand how difficult it was to keep up with the ever-changing melanin of this man.
The Michael Jackson Pantone Color Guide follows the various colors of MJ’s skin tones throughout the decades.

S.W.A.G.

Unlike slangrapdemocracy, my days of getting tons of swag are pretty much done and over. But every once in a while I get a little care package from various brands and good peoples I have met along the way.
Last week I received this MJ tribute tee from my good friends over at Heist & Co.
I know [...]

Light It Up

You know what’s cool right now? Retro.
You know what’s even cooler? Retro upcycling.
Case in point — the cassette tape lamps from ooo my design. Made by tying together analog cassette tapes with plastic ties, the tapes let off a glow when lit from within. And while it may not exactly be the best light source available, [...]

Beef

Brilliant poster series from Christopher Wade Sherron.
Taking a cue from hip hop culture, these posters were designed to provoke thought and attention towards an unacknowledged city by starting beef with well-known, prosperous cities in hopes to gain notoriety.
