James Cameron is that dude.

You know, the one who has an idea and then spends the next ten years refining it until technology catches up with his vision. After all, he’s the guy who redefined not only the action blockbuster with films like Aliens and Terminator 2: Judgement Day, but also made the highest grossing film ever, Titanic.

Now, his vision’s set on this next masterpiece, Avatar, a film about “paraplegic Marine linked to an alien life form on the planet Pandora, who then becomes whole again through the use of a hybrid alien body.”

The 3-D film – which was made with motion capture technology –  heralds a revolution in film making as Cameron wasn’t even on set to direct most of the film.
