I had to post this track from Big Boi’s perpetually delayed solo disc, ‘Sir Luscious Left Foot’, simply because he’s a rap great and this track is the jam. Who knows if Outkast will ever release ‘10 The Hard Way’ but this track, with a sped up sample inspired by The Bluenote’s classic ‘I Miss You‘, is a swank reminder that the parts can still be greater than the sum. The contrasts in rhyming styles and tempos is sweet and the beats are retro-cool soul licks that are great for cruising into fall with your drop-top down.
