When noise-poppers HEALTH debuted with their album “Get Color” waaaaay back in 2007 (I know, who rememebrs 2007, how ancient) they made a brilliant move and quickly followed up with an album of remixes that was arguably stronger than the debut disc. If you’re not familiar with HEALTH they make a plaintive brand of noise pop that’s electrified by darkly clever beats, angular guitars, wavy effects, and super fuzzy synths. Their resume boasts a choice slot as opener’s on one of NIN’s last tours. Check out this remixed version of ‘Before Tigers’ off their sophomore disc, “Get Colors”.
