San Francisco-based costume designer and artist Monique Motil crafts her Sartorial Creature sculptures from her lifelong collections of “strange pods, sparkly bits, fabric scraps, body parts, beads, and bones”. Her “Curious Monstrosities” are credited as the inspiration for characters in Christopher Moore’s New York Times bestseller, A Dirty Job.
