Came across this super funny video comparing two very not so comparable cameras. I mean the Barbie Video Girl has to be way better in quality than the Canon 7D =] It just has to! Barbie is a master of all trades, and I am glad to see she has now mastered a camera implant in her chest.

I’m all for Star Wars, but this is just a little too far! In Setauket, NY yesterday a man dressed as Darth Vader robbed a bank! Yeah…Darth Vader robbed a bank and the Rebel Alliance was not able to stop him. Apparently this guy forgot the rest of his costume at home since he was wearing camo pants and a blue top…Doesn’t he know Darth Vader is an all black costume??? Check out the video and article here!

And then there’s my personal fave, iDrunky.

iDrunky is an iPhone app with four sobriety tests that mimic U.S. police officers’ roadside DUI tests.

“Our goal is to fill the party niche,” explained the app’s designer, Alec Brownstein. “It’s not a serious app, just a fun one to play around with at a party for friends.”

Seems to me like the perfect indicator of drunk dialing-texting-tweeting potential. The more you suck at this game, the more entertaining/dramatic the inebriated communications will be. Awwwwwesome.

Who Needs People When You Have Robots and Chimps?

Although once the stuff of Hollywood films and science fiction lit, robots and chimps seem to be slowly phasing out the needs for people to do important stuff, like playing easy tunes on the violin, hustling fools at pool, and making stupid movies and posting them on the interwebs.

Toyota’s line of “Partner Robots” is currently under development, but the 2010 Shanghai Expo featured an early look of what we can expect in the robot-uprising. I’m not saying that these folks at Willow Garage are in on a conspiracy or anything– but methinks at least some sorta hustle is flowing…

In other news, the BBC released the first film ever to be shot entirely by chimpanzees.

Have you noticed your favorite atomic mushroom-cloud beverage missing from Whole Foods shelves lately?

Kombucha tea, the uber-cure-all-drink favored by everyone from the Ancient Chinese who allegedly invented it to the crunchy granolas who recently popularized it to the health foodies, hipsters, and Lindsey Lohan who now consume it en masse, actually contains more alcohol than the federally-allowable .05% and now must be re-labeled. Via gawker “Does Everything Lindsey Lohan touch turn to booze?” Hilarious. Maybe not the truth of the matter in this case, but well-played.

Whatever will Li-Lo do? Fear not, is what she’ll do. Word is the beverage is being re-labeled and will likely appear on shelves soon. For those of you new to Kombucha, gawker.com breaks it down for you:

1. It’s made from fermented yeast called the “kombucha mother” that looks like a giant mushroom

2. Many people grow their own Kombucha mothers and ferment their own Kombucha teas
